Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare approved Incyte’s drug Minjuvi (tafasitamab).

The approval authorizes Minjuvi for use in combination with lenalidomide to treat adults with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). This aggressive condition represents a common form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

The therapy provides a new treatment option for patients who are ineligible for autologous stem cell transplants. Positive data from both international and domestic clinical trials supported the regulatory decision, expanding Incyte’s global oncology market access.
