Intel spin-off Cornelis raised $205 million in a funding round led by IAG Capital Partners. The company develops high-performance fabric solutions to optimize communication between chips in large-scale AI systems.
The new capital will fund production scaling for the CN6000 platform and accelerate go-to-market strategies. Cornelis aims to capture market share from Nvidia’s dominant InfiniBand and NVLink technologies.
The funding coincides with the launch of the Active Compute Fabric. This open architecture integrates programmable compute into the network to improve AI accelerator utilization.
Cornelis also announced a strategic collaboration with Qualcomm.
