Intel has launched a pop-up store in Seoul, one of five such locations globally, and has designated South Korea as a strategic hub for AI PCs. This move aims to bolster collaboration with key South Korean partners, including major PC manufacturers like Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics, as well as software and e-commerce companies. At the opening event, Intel emphasized its commitment to the Korean market and its role in the growing AI PC ecosystem. The company highlighted partnerships with local software firms such as HANCOM, Upstage, and GGQ to develop AI solutions that leverage Intel's processors. Additionally, an Intel executive mentioned that the next-generation processor, codenamed "Panther Lake," is scheduled for release in January of the following year. This initiative is part of Intel's broader strategy to solidify its position in the AI PC market ahead of the peak back-to-school season.
