Intel is expanding its partnership with Google Cloud through two major initiatives. The chipmaker will deploy the Gemini Enterprise AI platform across its global engineering and supply chain operations. This integration allows Intel to create custom AI agents to automate software workflows and assist with coding.
Intel will also leverage Google Cloud’s high-performance computing (HPC) resources to accelerate semiconductor development. This move enables Intel to run complex simulations in parallel on the cloud, increasing the speed and efficiency of its chip verification processes.
The announcement strengthens an existing collaboration. Google Cloud previously committed to adopting Intel Xeon processors for its own infrastructure.
