Chinese streaming giant iQiyi is overhauling its corporate structure to transform into an AI-powered content hub. Founder and CEO Gong Yu expects artificial intelligence to produce a significant portion of the company's films and shows. The company aims for AI to generate the vast majority of its content within approximately five years.
iQiyi officially launched Nadou Pro to manage scriptwriting, storyboarding, and final rendering. The platform plans to convert its video app into a social media destination featuring AI-generated content. iQiyi aims to release its first commercially successful AI-produced film as early as this summer.
