Johnson & Johnson reported positive Phase 3 MonumenTAL-3 results for a combination therapy treating relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. The study evaluated TALVEY (talquetamab-tgvs) and DARZALEX FASPRO (daratumumab and hyaluronidase-fihj), with or without pomalidomide. Participants included patients who had received at least one prior line of therapy.

Researchers presented the data at the 2026 European Hematology Association (EHA) Annual Meeting. The combination therapy significantly reduced the risk of disease progression or death compared to the standard of care. At a 24-month follow-up, the regimen achieved a progression-free survival rate of 81.3%.

The study also recorded an overall survival rate of 89.2%. This trial marks the first Phase 3 study to demonstrate superior progression-free survival for a GPRC5D bispecific antibody combination in an earlier-line setting. Johnson & Johnson is currently coordinating with regulatory agencies to provide the treatment to eligible patients.
