Johnson & Johnson presented clinical trial results for its oncology portfolio at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting. The Phase 3 PROTEUS study for Erleada (apalutamide) was featured in the ASCO plenary session. Erleada combined with hormone therapy reduced the risk of metastasis or death by 20% in high-risk prostate cancer patients.

In hematology, the Phase 3 MajesTEC-9 study for Tecvayli (teclistamab) demonstrated a 71% reduction in the risk of disease progression or death. This result applied to patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma after one prior therapy compared to the standard of care.

The company also presented pivotal data for Rybrevant Faspro in advanced head and neck cancer showing durable responses. Johnson & Johnson has submitted an application for U.S. FDA approval for this indication.
