Coca-Cola HBC, a key bottling partner for The Coca-Cola Company, announced a £26 million investment in its Lisburn, Northern Ireland production facility. This funding represents the largest single investment at the site since it opened in 2008.
The capital will fund the installation of a new high-speed bottling line. This line will exclusively utilize 100% recycled plastic.
The new line is expected to be operational by May 2026. It will significantly increase the plant's capacity for bottles made from recycled materials. This move supports the broader Coca-Cola system's commitment to sustainability goals and a circular economy for packaging.
