The Coca-Cola system will invest R17.6 billion in South Africa through 2030. Luis Felipe Avellar, President of the Africa operating unit, announced the plan at the sixth South Africa Investment Conference.

The capital expands production capacity and distribution infrastructure. It also funds innovation within the beverage value chain. These efforts support local hiring, production, and sourcing.

South Africa will participate in the Africa Water Stewardship Initiative. This program allocates nearly $25 million through 2030. The initiative addresses water challenges across 20 African countries.
