Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), the Indian bottling arm of The Coca-Cola Company, is laying off approximately 300 employees. This reduction impacts 4–6% of its total workforce.

The job cuts span sales, supply chain, and plant operations. HCCB implements the cuts as part of a broader initiative to enhance profitability and streamline the business under new leadership.

The move follows a challenging financial period for the company. For fiscal year 2025, HCCB reported a 73% drop in net profit and a 9% decline in revenue. The company attributed this performance partly to the recent sale of bottling operations in several territories.

A company spokesperson characterized the layoffs as minor. They stated the cuts are part of a regular review designed to maintain competitiveness and efficiency.
