Kroger will establish a new distribution center in Simpson County, Kentucky. The company commits $391 million to the project.
The facility will function as a full-line distribution center, featuring scalable and automated operations to supply Kroger stores. This major project is expected to create approximately 430 new full-time jobs.
The investment enhances Kroger’s supply chain and supports its retail operations. Kroger already operates nearly 110 stores in Kentucky and employs over 19,000 associates statewide.
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear praised the announcement, calling it a significant contributor to the state's economy.
