K Wave Media (NASDAQ: KWM) appointed Joongjae Lee as Chairman of the Board and Richard Kim as Co-Chief Executive Officer. Richard Kim joins current CEO Ted Kim to lead a new dual-executive structure. Lee provides expertise in applied AI, while Richard Kim contributes 30 years of experience in M&A and corporate finance.
The leadership changes support a transformation strategy centered on AI infrastructure, semiconductor technologies, and advanced manufacturing. Richard Kim will manage operations and M&A execution from Korea. Ted Kim will continue to oversee capital formation and U.S. investor relations.
The company is currently performing due diligence on multiple acquisition targets. K Wave Media plans to rebrand as NEXUS Advanced Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: NXAT) on or about August 21, 2026.
