Li Auto officially entered the Egyptian, Kazakh, and Azerbaijani markets, marking a significant international expansion. This move establishes an initial footprint across Central Asia, the Caucasus region, and Africa. Since accelerating its global push in October 2025, Li Auto now operates in four overseas markets, including Uzbekistan.
The company launched its extended-range electric SUV models—the Li L6, Li L7, and Li L9—in these new regions. For the Egyptian market, Li Auto partnered with GB Auto, the country's largest automotive distributor, to open stores in Cairo.
Li Auto stated that its new products for 2026 will incorporate overseas market regulations early in research and development. This strategy aims to enhance the automaker's global competitiveness.
