Li Auto announced the launch of its first automated charging station on Thursday.

The company targets a launch for the technology in the second quarter of 2026.

The system automates station location, parking, and charging initiation to reduce manual driver input.

This initiative rivals automated charging and smart driving technologies from Chinese competitors like Nio.

Li Auto currently operates over 4,000 supercharging stations in China.

These locations house more than 22,000 individual superchargers.

The company now prioritizes enhancing charging speeds and user experience.
