Li Auto launched its flagship L9 SUV in Kazakhstan, marking its official entry into the Central Asian market. The company is partnering with authorized dealers to establish a sales and service network across major cities. These locations will provide official warranties, maintenance, and software updates to local customers.
The launch supports a 2025 global expansion strategy targeting the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Li Auto signed a cooperation agreement with Allur Group to begin local vehicle assembly. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev witnessed the signing of the partnership.
Allur’s plant in Kostanay will become the first facility outside of China to produce Li Auto vehicles. This move represents a strategic transition from exporting finished units to establishing localized overseas production.
