Li Auto plans to release a two-wheel manufacturing robot later this year. The internal team "Nexus" has developed the project for one year.
The company is also developing a bipedal robot. The two-wheeled model will launch first.
This move follows factory automation efforts by Tesla and XPeng. Former Jiuguang hardware partner He Junpei leads the unit.
