Eli Lilly began participating in the Alzheimer's Association International Conference (AAIC) in London today. The event runs from July 12-15.

The company will present 16 research abstracts during the conference. Presentations include new clinical data for the amyloid-targeting treatment Kisunla (donanemab-azbt). Researchers will also share insights from the TRAILBLAZER-ALZ studies.

A primary focus involves new diagnostic data for the P-tau217 blood biomarker test. This test identifies Alzheimer's pathology in cognitively unimpaired individuals. The biomarker potentially offers a more accessible alternative to current imaging techniques.
