LightPath Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: LPTH) received $13 million in follow-on purchase orders for advanced optical assemblies. A leading counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) and defense supplier placed the order.
The assemblies will be integrated into counter-drone systems for the U.S. military and its international allies. Delivery for the project is scheduled for completion within the 2027 calendar year.
CEO Sam Rubin stated the order is part of a multi-year program expected to continue expanding. The contract targets the rapidly growing C-UAS segment of the global defense market.
