Lam Research partnered with NY Creates to train approximately 3,500 students in semiconductor process integration. The five-year program spans a network of northeastern colleges and universities.
Students will utilize Lam’s Semiverse® Solutions virtual fabrication software and SEMulator3D® for hands-on engineering training. This initiative provides curriculum support to address the semiconductor industry's widening talent gap.
Lam Research shares rose more than 4% following the announcement. The collaboration aims to develop a skilled workforce as chip technologies become increasingly advanced.
