Manchester United re-established direct contact with Marcus Rashford’s representatives regarding a potential first-team return. Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reports the club is open to Rashford joining pre-season training under manager Michael Carrick. These discussions aim to rebuild trust after FC Barcelona declined to exercise their purchase option.

Manchester United is also pursuing a long-term strategy to sign two 16-year-old academy players from Manchester City. The club is currently attempting to recruit youth prospects Xavier Parker and Karim Cassim.
