Marriott International signed a strategic agreement with CG Hospitality Global on June 24, 2026. The partnership will introduce and develop the Series by Marriott brand across Greater China.
The agreement outlines a plan to open approximately 100 hotels over the next 10 years. The first four properties are expected to be operational by the end of 2026.
This expansion addresses rising demand for high-quality, affordable lodging in the select-service segment. Marriott globally launched the Series brand in May 2025 to appeal to value-conscious travelers.
The collaboration leverages CG Hospitality Global’s local expertise to accelerate Marriott’s regional growth. This move provides more choices for Marriott Bonvoy members and creates new affiliation opportunities for regional hotel owners.
