An Italian court lifted the judicial administration of LVMH’s cashmere brand, Loro Piana.
The court ended the monitoring early, which originally began in July 2025. The oversight was initially scheduled for a 12-month term. Authorities launched the investigation following allegations of labor exploitation involving indirect subcontracts to Chinese-owned firms.
Loro Piana conducted 2,400 audits across its supplier network since 2024. The company terminated relationships with over 100 suppliers and sub-suppliers for failing to meet standards. Loro Piana has since implemented enhanced supplier oversight procedures.
