Czechoslovak Group (CSG) has acquired a 9.5% stake in Canadian satellite and space technology firm MDA Space, becoming its largest shareholder. The investment marks CSG's first major strategic move into the global space sector.
CSG projects the global space sector will nearly triple in value to $1.8 trillion by 2035. The company describes the deal as a long-term strategic partnership that could lead to further collaboration, including joint investments in European manufacturing facilities and potential future acquisitions.
To support its expansion, CSG has formed a dedicated space team and hired experts from NATO and the investment industry to guide its strategy.
