Manus parent company Butterfly Effect has raised more than $500 million in its first funding round since Meta’s acquisition of the company was reversed. Boyu Capital and IDG Capital co-led the round, with existing shareholders including Tencent also participating.

The financing is Butterfly Effect’s first since it resumed independent operations on September 1, 2026. Chinese regulators blocked Meta’s acquisition, announced in late 2025, leading to the deal’s reversal.

The company did not disclose a new valuation. Reports in September said the round was targeting a valuation of about $4 billion.
