Meta Platforms is expanding its artificial intelligence infrastructure in India through a new partnership with Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries. Reliance will construct a 168-megawatt, AI-ready data center in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

Meta will lease the facility with options to scale capacity. This project deepens the existing collaboration between the two companies.

The partners previously committed $100 million to a joint venture developing enterprise AI solutions using Meta’s Llama models. The data center supports Meta’s global AI expansion and growth in India’s digital economy.
