AI startup Anthropic raised $30 billion in a Series G funding round. The investment brings the company’s post-money valuation to $380 billion. GIC and Coatue led the financing, with participation from D. E. Shaw Ventures, Dragoneer, Founders Fund, ICONIQ, and MGX.
The round also included previous commitments from strategic partners Microsoft and Nvidia. This transaction marks one of the largest private funding rounds in technology history.
Anthropic plans to allocate the capital toward research, product development, and infrastructure expansion. The developer of the Claude AI model family stated the round underscores significant investor demand for leading artificial intelligence developers.
