CEO Satya Nadella announced executive leadership changes reinforcing Microsoft’s focus on security and quality.
Hayete Gallot rejoins the company as Executive Vice President of Security. She reports directly to Nadella. Gallot previously held senior roles at Microsoft and Google.
Charlie Bell transitions to a new role focused on engineering quality across the company. Bell previously led the security organization and also reports to Nadella.
The changes follow the recent Secure Future Initiative. Microsoft aims to address customer trust and product reliability. The goal is to increase accountability and accelerate progress in delivering high-quality user experiences.
