Micron Technology has commenced high-volume production of HBM4 memory and PCIe Gen6 SSDs. These components are specifically engineered for Nvidia’s upcoming Vera Rubin AI platform, as announced at GTC 2026.

The company also finalized the acquisition of Powerchip Semiconductor’s P5 fabrication site in Tongluo, Taiwan. This facility provides additional cleanroom space to scale advanced DRAM and High-Bandwidth Memory (HBM) production.

The expansion aims to meet surging AI-driven hardware demand. Micron is scheduled to report its second-quarter earnings on March 18.
