Nio’s sub-brand Onvo will begin pre-sales for the updated L60 electric SUV on May 29. The event coincides with the start of the Shenzhen Auto Show. The company plans an official market launch for June.
This rollout follows the recent launch of the L80 SUV and deliveries of the updated L90. The L60 mid-size SUV competes directly with the Tesla Model Y.
The updated model offers a larger interior and competitive energy efficiency. New versions feature LiDAR and Nio’s in-house Shenji NX9031 autonomous driving chip. This proprietary hardware replaces the Nvidia Orin X used in current models.
