Nokia and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison have partnered to modernize Indonesia’s nationwide mobile network using advanced 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies. The deployment focuses on low- and mid-band 5G to create a high-performance, AI-ready infrastructure.
The agreement expands network capacity and coverage for both consumer and enterprise sectors. Through a collaboration with NVIDIA, the partnership will also accelerate the development of AI-driven services.
Nokia and Indosat plan to conduct AI-RAN field trials in Indonesia by the end of 2026. This initiative aims to improve spectral efficiency and integrate AI connectivity across the country.
