Intellia Therapeutics announced positive results from the global Phase 3 HAELO clinical trial of lonvo-z for hereditary angioedema (HAE). The European Academy of Allergy & Clinical Immunology Annual Congress 2026 presented the data, which the New England Journal of Medicine simultaneously published.

The study met its primary endpoint by showing a statistically significant 87% reduction in the mean monthly attack rate compared to placebo.

Secondary endpoints revealed that 62% of patients treated with lonvo-z remained completely free of attacks. In contrast, only 11% of the placebo group remained attack-free during the evaluation period. The treatment also achieved a 91% reduction in moderate to severe attacks.
