NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang revealed significant business developments at the company's GTC conference in Washington, D.C. The company has secured $500 billion in orders for its Blackwell and Rubin graphics processing units (GPUs) slated for delivery through 2026. Of the 20 million units ordered, 30% have already been shipped, with the remainder expected to generate approximately $70 billion in revenue per quarter over the next five quarters. In addition to the substantial orders, NVIDIA announced a partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy to build seven AI supercomputers. This collaboration will provide thousands of researchers with access to advanced AI infrastructure, including the 'Solstice' system, which will be the department's largest AI supercomputer featuring 100,000 Blackwell GPUs. This move is seen as a major development that reinforces NVIDIA's dominant position in the GPU market and its relationship with the federal government.
