NVIDIA has announced a significant expansion in South Korea, committing to supply 260,000 of its Blackwell processors to bolster the nation's artificial intelligence infrastructure. The plan was revealed following a meeting between NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung at the APEC Summit. The collaboration involves the South Korean government and major corporations, including Samsung, SK Hynix, and Hyundai Motor. As part of this initiative, NVIDIA will partner with Samsung and SK Group to build separate "AI Factories," each utilizing over 50,000 GPUs to advance semiconductor manufacturing, robotics, and cloud infrastructure. This deal marks one of NVIDIA's largest-ever commitments to a single market, aiming to embed AI across the nation's key industries.
