NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated at the World Economic Forum in Davos that AI initiated the largest infrastructure buildout in history. Speaking with BlackRock's CEO, Huang emphasized the expansion requires more energy, land, and skilled trade workers. He suggested vocational workers, such as plumbers and electricians, could command six-figure salaries due to demand for building AI data centers.
Huang addressed concerns regarding an "AI bubble." He argued that large investments are necessary to build foundational infrastructure for all layers of AI. Huang also highlighted robotics as a significant opportunity for Europe's industrial manufacturing base.
