NVIDIA has joined the India Deep Tech Alliance (IDTA) as a founding member and strategic technical advisor, positioning itself to support the country's burgeoning AI and semiconductor startup scene. The alliance, backed by investors with over $2 billion in capital commitments, aims to foster innovation in sectors like AI, robotics, and semiconductors. As part of the alliance, NVIDIA will provide technical guidance, training through its Deep Learning Institute, and policy input to help emerging companies. While NVIDIA has not disclosed a direct financial investment, this strategic move is designed to build a strong ecosystem and secure early relationships with future AI leaders in the world's third-largest startup market, which is receiving significant government backing for its deep tech sector.
