OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra model reached this capability while operating on Nvidia’s latest advanced chip systems. AGI refers to artificial intelligence that can perform any intellectual task a human being can.
OpenAI has not officially confirmed that its latest model reached the AGI milestone. The announcement follows Nvidia’s ongoing efforts to solidify its dominance in the AI sector.
Nvidia signed a $12.9 billion agreement to acquire the open-source AI platform Hugging Face. This acquisition strengthens the company’s software ecosystem. The move expands Nvidia’s business model beyond its core chip supply operations.
