NVIDIA and South Korea’s SK Group established a $500 billion partnership to build global AI infrastructure. SK Telecom will construct a 2-gigawatt AI cloud using NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin platform. NVIDIA and SK hynix will also co-develop next-generation HBM4 AI memory through a long-term collaboration.

The initiative aims to accelerate large-scale AI services across the Asia-Pacific region. The partners expect the first AI factory to begin operations in 2027.

NVIDIA separately revealed a $1 billion investment in South Korean internet firm NAVER. This capital will finance the expansion of NAVER’s AI data center to strengthen the regional AI ecosystem.
