Navitas Semiconductor and Magnachip formed a strategic partnership to accelerate high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage silicon carbide (SiC) technology adoption. The collaboration targets high-power systems within the industrial, energy, and automotive sectors.
Magnachip will license Navitas's GeneSiC™ Gen 4 and Gen 5 technologies. These power solutions span voltages of 1200V, 2300V, 3300V, and higher.
Magnachip gains access to Navitas's supply chain and materials ecosystem to expedite market entry. The company will integrate and qualify the technology at its manufacturing facility in South Korea.
