Ora Banda Mining commenced underground development at the Waihi gold mine in Western Australia. This project marks the company’s third underground operation.
The mine is located three kilometers from the central Davyhurst processing plant. This proximity facilitates efficient ore hauling and processing.
Recent high-grade drilling at the nearby Midnight prospect supports the expansion. Intercepts reached 11.5 meters at 26.0 grams of gold per tonne.
These results underscore the growth potential of the Waihi area. The development advances the company’s strategy to increase production at its Davyhurst operations.
