Oklo Inc. and Centrus Energy Corp. signed an agreement to explore a joint venture for high-assay low-enriched uranium (HALEU) services.
The partners plan to base operations at the Centrus facility in Piketon, Ohio. This location sits adjacent to Oklo’s planned 1.2 GW power campus.
The venture integrates uranium enrichment and deconversion processes to increase production efficiency. Co-locating these fuel-cycle stages aims to reduce costs and eliminate supply bottlenecks for advanced reactor designs.
This collaboration strengthens the domestic nuclear fuel supply chain. The initiative supports both Oklo’s internal requirements and the broader deployment of nuclear power across the United States.
