Ondas Holdings subsidiary World View secured a $4.8 million contract from the U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command. The agreement covers a three-month Maritime Domain Awareness program. World View will deploy high-altitude stratospheric balloons to provide surveillance and reconnaissance.
The mission focuses on counter-narcotics and illegal fishing across the Eastern Pacific and Caribbean. This contract follows a successful technology demonstration during the multinational UNITAS 2025 maritime exercise. The program supports SOUTHCOM’s goal of increasing unmanned and autonomous system use for regional security.
