Opendoor completed its acquisition of Doma’s closing and escrow operations on July 20, 2026. The move integrates Doma’s automated title-risk technology into Opendoor’s national closing platform.

The integration aims to accelerate refinance closings and reduce transaction costs. This strategy aligns with Fannie Mae’s Title Acceptance Program, which waives traditional title insurance for certain low-risk refinance loans.

The Federal Housing Finance Agency has reportedly extended this pilot program through November 2027. This extension provides a stable regulatory environment for Opendoor to scale its newly acquired operations.
