Per Aarsleff Holding A/S secured a DKK 3.7 billion design and build contract from Energinet. The project involves constructing land facilities for the Bornholm Energy Island to connect Baltic Sea wind power to Danish and German grids.
The development includes two main sites located on Bornholm and in Høje Taastrup. The Bornholm facility features 51,000 square meters of buildings, including converter halls and a high-voltage substation.
The design phase begins on August 1, 2026. Construction will start around the turn of the year 2027/28. This contract does not impact earnings expectations for the 2025/26 financial year.
