The U.S. Army awarded defense technology startup Anduril Industries a 10-year enterprise contract with a maximum value of $20 billion. This firm-fixed-price agreement consolidates more than 120 separate procurement actions into a single framework.
The deal streamlines the acquisition of the company's commercial technology, including its AI-enabled Lattice software platform and hardware. The contract structure consists of a five-year base period and a five-year option extending through March 2036.
This unified system aims to reduce administrative costs and accelerate the deployment of critical capabilities to soldiers. Work locations and specific funding will be determined with each individual order. The agreement also serves as a positive development for Anduril’s publicly-traded partner, Palantir Technologies.
