Palantir CEO Alex Karp will be the first major investor in a new defense technology company founded by Mykhailo Fedorov. Fedorov, Ukraine’s former Defence Minister, announced the venture on social media.
The investment deepens the relationship between the American data analytics firm and Ukraine. Palantir currently provides software to the Ukrainian military.
The new company will leverage battlefield experience to develop technologies for Ukraine and its allies. Fedorov previously championed the use of drones and artificial intelligence in warfare.
