Palantir Technologies is reportedly partnering with sports betting platform Polymarket to monitor sports contracts for potential insider trading and suspicious activity.
The collaboration utilizes Palantir’s AI-powered software to detect, prevent, and report irregular trading patterns. The system will also screen participants against lists of individuals barred from sports betting.
Polymarket expects to deploy these monitoring tools on a new U.S.-regulated platform currently under development. The move addresses increasing scrutiny over the ability of prediction markets to police their platforms.
