Insulet Offered Record $40M State Incentive, Retaining Acton Medical Manufacturing

Massachusetts officials offered Insulet Corp. (PODD) a record $40 million incentive package. The deal aims to keep the Omnipod insulin system manufacturer's expansion within the state.

The funding supports the growth of Insulet’s global headquarters and manufacturing operations in Acton. This represents the state’s most aggressive job-creation package to date.

The offer supplements a local Tax Increment Financing agreement approved by Acton’s Town Meeting in May. Insulet has operated its global headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Acton since 2017.
