Poste Italiane S.p.A. concluded its voluntary public exchange offer for Telecom Italia S.p.A. (TIM) shares on September 11, 2026. The tender period originally opened on July 20, 2026. TIM shareholders received a combination of cash and newly issued Poste Italiane shares in exchange for their holdings.
Poste Italiane aims to delist TIM to build an integrated platform spanning finance, insurance, logistics, and digital services. The company increased the cash component of its offer on September 8. Poste Italiane also waived the previous minimum acceptance threshold of 66.67% to signal its commitment to the acquisition.
