Germany’s domestic intelligence service, the BfV, signed a contract with French firm ChapsVision. The agency will trial ChapsVision's intelligence data fusion platform. This agreement supports European efforts to reduce dependence on U.S.-based Palantir.

The deal follows French diplomatic and commercial promotion of European-sovereign technology. Palantir maintains substantial regional influence despite this setback in Germany. Most European countries still use Palantir's Gotham platform.

France’s DGSI is currently considering alternatives to Palantir. The agency estimates a complete migration from Palantir systems would take at least two years. This timeline reflects the company's deeply integrated position.
