PayPal Holdings, Inc. signed a multi-year agreement as the official peer-to-peer (P2P) payments partner of the National Football League.

The partnership integrates PayPal into fan transactions for tickets, tailgating, and game-day expenses.

PayPal plans to leverage the NFL's global audience, which includes nine regular-season games scheduled abroad.

The company will launch the sponsorship at this week's NFL Draft with endorsements from five rookie players.
